The Rio de Janeiro Ferris Wheel, installed at the Forte de Copacabana, is back. Used as a showpiece of Rio's candidacy to host the 2016 Olympics, the Roda Rio 2016 is only one of many attractions installed at the Forte. There's also a food court, a temporary outpost of Spanish lounge Café del Mar, and a space set up with several pool tables.
Forte de Copacabana: Praça Coronel Eugênio Franco, 1, Posto 6, Copacabana. Open from 1 PM until 1 AM, until March 1, 2009. Tickets cost from 10 to 45 reais.
